Terms of service
Last updated: [DATE]
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you buy services from [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], trading as Buzzlines (“we”, “us”). Registered address: [ADDRESS]. Company number: [COMPANY NUMBER]. By signing up or paying for a plan you agree to them.
2. Our services
We provide WhatsApp marketing, AI chatbot and bulk SMS marketing services, as described in your plan or quote. We may improve or change features over time, but we won’t reduce the core service you’ve paid for without telling you.
3. Your responsibilities
You must only message people who have agreed to hear from you, and keep records of that consent. You must follow WhatsApp’s Business and Commerce policies, UK data protection law and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). You’re responsible for the content of your messages and for keeping your login details safe.
4. Things you can’t send
No spam, misleading or illegal content, or anything that breaks WhatsApp’s or mobile networks’ rules. We can pause or stop sending if we think a campaign breaks these rules or puts your account at risk.
5. Fees and payment
Plan fees are shown on our website or in your quote and are billed [monthly in advance]. Meta’s WhatsApp message fees and SMS delivery costs are charged [on top of / as part of] your plan, as set out in your quote. Late payments may lead to the service being paused.
6. Contract length and cancelling
Plans run [month to month / for a minimum of X months]. You can cancel with [NOTICE PERIOD] notice by emailing [EMAIL]. Fees already paid aren’t refundable unless we’ve failed to provide the service.
7. Data protection
Where we process your customers’ data for you, we act as your data processor and handle it under our data processing agreement. See our privacy policy for how we handle your own data.
8. Third-party services
Our services rely on third parties such as Meta, mobile networks and our software provider. We aren’t responsible for their outages, rule changes or decisions, such as Meta restricting a WhatsApp account, but we’ll help you resolve any issues.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited. Otherwise, our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we aren’t liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll tell you about important changes at least [30] days before they take effect.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
